You can do the assembly yourself
You can install the tap filter yourself, without the need for technical modifications to your existing tap or sink modification.
* Impurities and contaminants that the filter reduces or removes are not necessarily present in drinking tap water. The Brita filtration system is designed exclusively for the treatment and improvement of already drinking water. It cannot be used to convert non-drinkable water into drinking water. The presence of nitrogen remains unchanged, so the Brita filter cannot be used to prepare baby water.

The Brita ON TAP filtration device is compatible with Brita ON TAP V (4-stage filtration) and Brita ON TAP V-MF (5-stage filtration) filters.

The Brita ON TAP water filter does not serve as a filter against limescale. If you need to get rid of limescale, we recommend Brita filter jugs.

How does the Brita ON TAP water filter work?

It reduces impurities, but minerals (calcium, magnesium) are retained!

1. Extra fine filter screen retains coarse particles that could come from old pipes

2. Powerful ion exchanger reduces metals such as lead.

3. Natural microcarbon from coconut shells reduces substances that affect the taste and smell of water (such as chlorine).

Eliminating odours and flavour-disrupting substances such as chlorine and chlorine
reduces traces of herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals*.

4. An additional high-performance filter mesh will retain small particles > 60 μm.

Unfiltered water flows through the filter. The fine sieve captures coarse particles - organic impurities. Subsequently, the water comes into contact with the filter mixture itself, which primarily contains 2 components. A resin that, as an ion exchanger, absorbs heavy metals (lead, copper). Activated carbon - when water comes into contact with activated carbon microparticles, there is a significant reduction in substances negatively affecting the taste and smell of water - especially chlorine, pesticides, herbicides and pharmaceuticals, which are caught on the porous surface of activated carbon microparticles (Micro Carbon Pearls). The extra fine sieve then captures particles larger than 60 micrometers, including microplastics. Water then flows from the tap, which has preserved minerals such as calcium and magnesium. The Brita ON TAP water filter does not serve as a filter against limescale.

Purely natural technology
The filtration technology of Brita filters is based on purely natural technology. The filter body is made of BPA-free plastic and is designed for permanent contact with water. The filter mixture inside the filter consists of an ion exchanger in the form of resin and microparticles of activated carbon, which are made from coconut shells.

Installing the water filter

BRITA ON TAP V can only be attached to taps with a diameter between 15 mm and 25 mm.

With the included adapters, the device can be connected to most taps. Before connecting the device to the fitting, you should first select a suitable adapter.
